Okay, so it's Friday finally. There's about half a day of work left. All I can think about is playing DAoC's (Dark Age of Camelot, it's a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) newest expansion, New Frontiers. Before I can explain what New Frontiers is, I must first explain what DAoC is all about. In some ways, it's just like every other MMORPG out there. You make your wizard, paladin, ranger, etc... run around and kill the bad monsters. The element of DAoC that's different...

Someone here at the office has a daughter who is a photographer. He was always checking this website to see what her latest photos looked like. Well, I finally got around to asking him about the site, and it sure is cool! The main site is: Link It's completely free. It's also completely easy! When you want to post pictures to your site, you just send them to an email address that you specify when you're making your account, and they'll get automatically posted. I started my own ...

Okay, so I just felt like sharing the horrible run of bad luck that a coworker/friend of mine is having this year: 1. Turns out his new bride is a dirty whore, and in their 1.5 years together has already slept with many many people. This included his ex-best friend. He's now divorsed. 2. His mother has a stroke. She's reasonably alrighty I think now. I think she still talks a little slow, and has a couple other small problems, but holy crap that would suck. 3. His car gets "wa...

So, I'm leaving work in 1.5 hours, and I sure am sleepy. When I'm this sleepy, work isn't the easiest thing to accomplish. I just use my phone's "ready link" thingy to call my wife's phone in the house. It's fun to do that and wake the dogs up. I'm jealous of their ability to just hang around and sleep all day. That's all...

Okay... I just got to work, and I sure am tired I couldn't get to sleep last night. My wife, on the other hand, has the ability to fall asleep on command. The glow from the bedside lamp normally hasn't even faded by the time her gentle snore can be heard. I, on the other hand, sit there for seemingly ever thinking about completely random crap. Sometimes it's some programming thing from work... sometimes it's about the mmorpg we play... sometimes it's just completely off the wall.....

For those of you who don't live in a military world, and might be confused by the hand signals you see the special forces types using on CNN, here's a brief overview of their translations:

Okay, if you've read my opening article, you already know my wifey is out of town. If not, here's the deal... So, my wife is in the military, and recently got tagged for a 4-6 month trip to the dessert. My wife and I are each others best friends, so the time apart REALLY sucks. We're both extremely bored, and miss each other a TON!! As is obvioius, it's coming up on Christmas, which is going to be an especially fun time to be apart. I'm trying to think of something really really good t...

Okay, so just like everyone else in the world, I took some Spanish in high school. Then after joining the military, I was stationed in San Antonio for around 5 years. Spanish (the Mexican version) is a VERY close second in the race for the most prominent language in that area. I've always been confused about something though... I learned the word 'vamos' meant literally 'we go.' It's the 'We' conjurgation of 'Voy' meaning 'to go.' Whenever they say this in a movie though, they always sa...

So, a co-worker of mine finally got into work this morning. He was running late because his truck was broken into last night, and he was calling insurance people, cops, and window repair people. I can empathize with what's he's going through right now, since I've had my vehicles broken into 3 times in the past. I just wanted to share another example of why I believe people suck! Here are the things that were stolen from my cars in the past. Feel free to share examples of what evil pe...

I'm mostly writing this article right now just to keep myself from blowing up on the people around me in my cubicle... When you work for a living, you are paid to actually work! Whether that's at McDonalds, developing software, or in the military it doesn’t matter. Either way, there is money being given to you to actually perform a task. What amazes me is that some people can just hang around all day and not feel bad in the slightest that they don't do ANY work! In my current job, I w...

When I was younger, I used to be a real 'people person.' Times have changed though... I seem to mostly dislike everyone I meet. I'm satisfied just hanging around the house and doing things with my wfie for the most part. The reasons for this are many: 1. Most people have no problem stealing, lying, cheating, or basically doing WHATEVER it takes to make themselves happen at the expense of others as long as they thing they can "get away with it." (boy, that was a long sentence) 2. R...
